C. M. High, Inc. is an electrical contractor which has been serving the commercial, industrial, residential service and agricultural industries of our area. Our traffic division is a PennDOT certified installer and maintenance provider of highway lighting and traffic signals. Our vehicle maintenance division provides automotive repairs and PA state inspections. Our team of qualified technicians will respond quickly to your needs, as we have since 1977.

About our Founder
Clair High began his career as an electrician in 1972 and in 1977 at age 25 he purchased the electrical operations from his employer and started operating C. M. High. Initially the work performed was Agricultural and Residential, but as time went on the company moved into Commercial work as well. In the early 1980’s Traffic Signal installation was added to the roster and around the year 2000 the company began taking on more Industrial projects. Today Clair is retired from business operations but remains keenly interested in the business and hearing about new trends and methods as the trade evolves. The business is currently owned and managed by four sons, Gerald High, Merle High, Michael High, and Delmar High. The third generation family members are working in the business and the goal is to continue the family format in the future.
